Hey,
Salam.
Tonight, I’ve got some awesome stuff to share with you. Ready to dive in?
In previous post, we talked about Sayyid Mawla Amine’s nasab on his father's side. Today, I found something cool, revealing Sayyid’s connection to a Wali Allah through his mom’s lineage!
Check-mate!
Turns out, Sayyid’s mom's lineage goes back to Imam Idris Al Akbar, Imam Idris Al Azhar, and Imam Abdullah Al Kamil!

From the source, this Wali Allah named Sidi Muhammad bin Abdul Azim Al-Mutawakkil are from the same house and shares the same lineage as Sayyid’s mom via Moulay 'Imran Sharif el Hassani. Best part is, Moulay ‘Imran Sharif is Sayyid’s great-grandfather, and Moulay Ali Mansouri is his grandfather. Both have their maqam in the village of Kalaat Bouqara.
This means, Sayyid’s mom’s nasab is:
SHARIFAH bint Sidi Mahmoud bin Sidi Salah bin Sidi Tahir bin Sidi Ali bin Muhammad Al Mansouri grandson of Sayidi Abu Al Hasan Ali bin Muhammad bin MOULAY ALI AL MANSOURI bin MOULAY 'AMRANE SHARIF EL HASSANI bin Sidi Yahya bin Sidi Imran bin MOULAY HANIN bin Sidi Yahya bin Sidi Said bin Mass’oud bin ‘Amir bin Omar bin Moulay ‘Imran Akbar bin Sidi Safwan bin Sidi Khaled bin Sidi Zaid bin Al Amir Prince Moulay Abdullah bin Moulay Idris el Azhar bin Moulay Idris Al Akbar bin Maulana Abdullah Al Kamil bin Maulana Hassan Al Muthan bin Maulana Imam Hasan bin Maulana Imam Ali and Sayyida Fatima binti Saidina Mawlana Muhammad ﷺ.
So, where do Sayyid’s mom and father’s lineages intersect? At Imam Idris Al Azhar! SubhanaALLAH.
LEGACY OF AL-'AMRANI SHURAFA
Al-'Imrani Shurafa or Al-'Amrani Chorfas, they are descendants of the Prophet ﷺ, and long-time custodians of Moroccan heritage. Their legacy is intertwined with a highly respected zawiya called Dar Al-Waqar, the House of Reverence.
A revered figure, Moulay Imran Sharif, passed away in 983 AH during the reign of the Saadian Sultan Moulay Abdelmalik. For centuries, the Al-'Amrani Chorfas were the princes of the Moroccan desert. Their ancestor, Moulay Amrane I, was summoned to the north by the King to receive his blessing, passing away in 388 AH near Chefchaouen. Since then, the Al-'Amrani Chorfas have resided in their lands, enjoying respect from the authorities and autonomy granted by the Cherifian Dahirs.
The Al-'Amrani Chorfas have contributed significantly to Moroccan history. They produced many scholars and played active roles in the jihad against the Crusaders' invasions on the northern and western coasts of Morocco.
OK, now we're getting to the best part!
The Al-'Amrani Chorfas are among the few living near Jabal 'Alam, alongside the descendants of Moulay Abdeslam! Means, the Al-'Amrani Chorfas share this historic spot with the descendants of Moulay Abdeslam—yep, Sayyid's mom was a Chérifa 'Amraniya. And Sayyid Muhammad Amin, representing both the 'Amrani El Hassani on his mom's side and the 'Alami El Hassani on his father's. MashaALLAH!
The Al-'Amrani and 'Alami Chorfas stand out in the Morocco Kingdom for their verified descent from the Prophet ﷺ. They have been great scholars, jurists, Quranic masters, statesmen, and spiritual leaders of zawiyas for a millennium. Subhan Allah.

70 BRANCHES OF AL-'AMRANI FAMILY
There are 70 branches of the Al-'Amrani family from SIDI HANIN and Sidi Atik, as detailed in the book "Zahra Al-Akhbar fi Kanz Al-Asrar" by Al-Maqri Abi Al-Abbas Ahmad.
Al-Maqri Abi Al-Abbas Ahmad bin Abi Abdullah Muhammad states in "Zahra Al-Akhbar fi Kanz Al-Asrar":
"From the Talmbout region, originating from the Bani Bushdad tribe, seventy branches of the Al-'Amrani family descended from Sidi Hanin have branched out. They consist of various branches and tribes, totaling seventy branches, descendants of the noble Sheikh Sidi Hanin bin Yahya bin Said bin Mas'ud bin Amir bin Umar bin Abi Musa bin 'Imran bin Yazid bin Safwan bin Khalid bin Zaid bin Abdullah bin Idris Al-Azhar. His sons were Muhammad, Abu Bakr, Alal, and 'Imran. There are also branches in Dar Al-Baqr from the Sanhaji tribe."
He also said: "The noble Sheikh's children, Moulay 'Imran bin Muhammad bin Abdul Warith bin Abdul Qadir (grandfather of Sidi Mohamed bin Abdel Adhim) bin 'Imran bin Yahya bin 'Imran bin Sheikh Sidi Hanin, consist of seven brothers: Muhammad, Ahmad, Ali, Hassan, Abu Qasim, and Abdul Salam. The sons of Al-Hashimi consist of four brothers: Abdul Rahman, Abdullah, Al-Tayyib, and Ali. Their father was Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Al-Hashimi, son of Abdul Rahman bin 'Imran bin Yahya bin 'Imran bin Sidi Hanin."

AL-MANSOURI CHILDREN
Al-Mansouri is Sayyid's grandfather from the Telga region (also known as Targha).
They consisted of three brothers: 'Imran, Ali, and Muhammad. From them, branches of the family were formed. The children of Abu Abdullah Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Ali Al-Mansouri bin 'Imran bin Yahya bin 'Imran bin Sidi Hanin (near Chefchaouen).
GOLDEN NASAB?
Why not?
It’s no exaggeration to say Sayyid Mawla Muhammad Amin Al Ouradj Al Idrisi Al Hasani descends from a golden lineage! It means he comes from such a respected lineage. BOTH SIDES!
With the ancestors who were not just any ordinary people.
Some were caliphs of the Idrisid Dynasty, spiritual leaders, and rulers of nations for centuries! AllahuAkbar!
Not to mention the world-renowned Wali Qutbs like Moulay Abdussalam Al Mashish (father’s side) and Moulay 'Imran Sharif (mother’s side).
Check out how the King of Morocco honors Moulay Abdussalam Al Mashish (pic above) and the large people attending the celebration of Moulay 'Imran Sharif’s hol (pic below).
Plus, the first Naqib Ashraf in Islamic history, Sidi Ahmad Mezwar, is also in his lineage!
Sayyid Mawla Muhammad Amine Al Idrisi Al Hasani truly deserves to be honored.
Because he truly is A HIDDEN GEM,
Shining brightly, whose light cannot be dimmed.
Hope it's useful.
Till then.
