Hey there, salam.
Hope you're well.
I've been feeling a bit off lately. May this discomfort is a sign of something bigger from Allah Taala. Alhamdulillah.
And thank God I'm able to chat with you here again.
Today, reminds me of a beloved mentor of Sayyid Muhammad Amin Al Hasani, or SMA. His name is Moulay Abdellah Chérif Ouazzani Al Yamlahi Al Alami Al Idrisi Al Hasani.
Besides his father, Moulay Abdellah Chérif was one of the many teachers who shaped SMA into the person he is today.
Moulay Abdellah was SMA's go-to about the Prophet's Diplomacy.
Both of them, SMA and Moulay Abdellah Chérif (MAC) had a tight bond.
Their relationship started since generations ago and evolved beyond mentorship.
Their closeness led SMA to invite MAC to join his journey to spread daawah in Indonesia.
SMA, the one who already famous and well-known there, introduced Moulay Abdellah to Asia in 2017.
Why not? Moulay Abdellah is no ordinary figure. He’s highly respected in Morocco for his knowledge, his wisdom and his genealogy. So, it was great seeing Moulay Abdellah meet top Ba’lawi scholars in Indonesia.
Thanx to SMA! We got to know Moulay Abdellah just because of him.
Moulay Abdellah loved calling SMA "his beloved cousin" in front of scholars and shurafa from Morocco and beyond.
For instance, MAC publicly showed his immense respect for SMA as they co-hosted international symposia among Ahlulbayt figures in 2020 and 2021. These events also widely shared on social media.
You can clearly hear MAC calling SMA:
كما أطلب من ابن عمي وأخي الحبيب :
سيدي محمد الأمين الحسني، أن يُتمّم هذه الجلسة ، وهو مشكور عندنا "
"As I request from my dear cousin and brother: Mr. Mohamed Al-Amin Al-Hassani, which we appreciate, to conclude this session.”

Their closeness sparked envy among many. After such a long time SMA family was known as Al Idrisi Al Hasani, especially among influential Ba'alawi sharifs in Asia, accusations suddenly surfaced about him using the Ouzzani name to stand out! Some even claimed he used the Jailani and Dabbagh family names. Allahuakbar!
This is ridiculous. What's the point? No one in Asia knows the Ouazzani or Dabbagh families, their people, or their tariqah. Let's be real—why bother with an unknown genealogy when SMA is already known and respected? Subhan Allah.
Of course, SMA’s lineage traces back to Imam Abdeslam Ibn Mashish Al Alami, Al Hasani.
All Mashishi families are from Al-Alami branch such as Al Ouazzani.
SMA and his family always attend ceremonies, from the vip honoring Moulay Abdeslam, whether at Moulay Idris’s mausoleum in Fes, at the Alamiyines ceremonies in Jabal Alam, or elsewhere in Morocco. It’s obvious!
Everyone knows SMA descends from Moulay Abdeslam.
If there were doubts about his sharifian lineage, Moulay Hamid al Hasani, SMA's father, wouldn't have been buried near the zaouia and the tomb of the great saint, Sidi Kacem Ben Rahmoun Cherif Al Hassani Al Alami!
The Sharifian Kingdom of Morocco wouldn’t take such a matter lightly.
I sympathize with SMA, who's faced relentless attacks causing divisions and hostility within their tribe. If Moulay Abdellah were here today, i bet he’d be the first to stand up and defend his beloved brother.
Please, i want to urge everyone.
Backbiting and slander are major sins. Why not delve deeper in this age of easy access to knowledge?
Investigate those trying to harm SMA. Be smart! Ask why there's an effort to harm him.
Why are they trying to expose him? Why stop him from spreading daawah?
Why hasn’t anyone proven anything? Why are there no police reports or legal actions in any country until now?
Why portray him as a foreigner when he’s Moroccan and his documents are wildly public ?
Why question his lineage when it’s verified by the Moroccan government and international figures?
Why so much hate against him for the same unknown individuals and few young asian students ?
And after so many fitnah and slander, finally the wise Malaysian Government, giving him THE CERTIFICATE OF GOOD CONDUCT on April 5, 2024.
No 'Ulama, no Saada, no Baalwi, no Idrisi, nobody with a certain value or knowledge ever spoken against SMA in public! Nope.
Who benefits from this? Look at both sides to find balance in your investigation. Why hasn’t any Moroccan scholar testified against him?
Why haven’t Moroccan authorities NEVER spoken against him?
Why is he free to move around his own country if he’s as bad as they claim?
Why not even one 'Alim, or one respected sayyid NEVER spoken against him.
Allahu Akbar.
I got sidetracked. Sorry, I get really upset whenever I think and I said about this.
Back to MAC. As July 3rd approaches, I wanted to honor him on the anniversary of his passing. To commemorate this day, I compiled a video featuring pictures and clips of SMA with him.
Just imagine, their bond was so strong that SMA was honored to speak at Moulay Abdellah’s funeral, in front of sharifs and scholars from the whole kingdom. The memorable speech went viral on YouTube. I took part of the speech and put it in the video below.
Watching these, I feel really sad.
The last video really shows how close SMA was to Moulay Abdellah. When Moulay Abdellah passed, SMA was chosen to speak at his funeral. Ever wondered why?
Only Allah knows. But it was probably what MAC wanted—a final wish to have someone from the same tribe and tariqah, and one of his closest friends, as anyone from Morocco would understand.
Our prayers are with both SMA and Moulay Abdellah. May Allah SWT bless MAC’s soul and grant him paradise.
Amin.
MAC’s nasab
